Bur Change — swap a worn tool safely

How to remove a worn bur and install a replacement without damaging the spindle cone.

Step by step

Stop the job and move the spindle to the tool-change position

Release the holder and pull the worn bur straight out
3
Clean the cone with a lint-free wipe and check for scoring

Insert the new bur and confirm it is fully seated
5
Re-measure the tool length before restarting
